Liquid Crystal Displays and Displays in General

At Aardvark we have more than 30 man years of experience with all types of Liquid Crystal Displays systems. Our engineers have worked on the smallest of products (LCOS type micro-displays) to what are currently the largest LCD displays in the world; our range of experience varies from the commercial to the academic, via industrial R&D. On this basis we are uniquely placed to advise and help, particularly for non-standard applications.

As part of our offering we have close links with LXD Incorporated, one of the oldest established LCD manufacturers in the world (and arguably the oldest); nowadays LXD's emphasis is on high reliability products, particularly for outdoor applications. For the more cutting edge application we have excellent links with academia, particularly Cambridge University and University College London.

In addition to our specific expertise in LCDs, we also have considerable displays experience in general, particularly with LED screen systems. Our engineers have worked with systems in the rental market and have also installed systems in very high profile stadium locations. We can offer general consultancy in this area, for example advising on the best product for your particular application and so on.
